Toni Marie Preston is a macro social worker, advocate, public speaker, facilitator, and consultant. She holds more than 7 years of experience helping organizations, professionals, students, and community members create environments rooted in anti-oppression, safety, empowerment, and accountability.
Toni utilizes her knowledge, skills, and experiences to educate people about systems of oppression, identity, intersectionality and the lived experiences of marginalized communities. She also utilizes research to advocate for policy and practice that is anti-oppressive/equitable. Toni holds a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Sociology and a minor in Women’s and Gender Studies from Illinois State University.
She also holds a Master of Social Work from The University of Illinois at Chicago with a concentration in Organization and Community Practice. She has a certificate in Human Services Management from The Network for Social Work Management and a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from The University of South Florida and is a licensed social worker in Illinois.
